Sean's Going on a Mission!

My Official Guesses for Sean’s Mission:

1) Armenia- Yerivan (Because my Mom’s sooo sure he’s going to Albania and I know how sometimes she gets names of places that are hard to pronounce confused hee hee)
2) Albania- Tiaran (Because sometimes my mom IS right about these things)
3) England- Leeds (I don’t know why, it would just seem to obvious that it would be London or something)
4) Japan Tokyo- (Because I would NEVER see him going their)
5) Australia Sydney North- (Because Adam went here and why not)

Five Missions I randomly scrolled through and landed on with my eyes closed:
1) Montana
2) Hungary- Butapest
3) Colorado- Denver (that’s almost Boise)
4) Netherlands
5) Japan- Sapporo

For some reason I REALLY don’t see him going to a Spanish/Portuguese speaking country…I don’t know why but I think he’ll leave the country, and I think he’ll go somewhere in Europe. I guess we’ll find out about October 1st!

I am getting excited to find out where he is going. It seems that there is a real flood of missionaries going "state side". He just may go to Colorado. Did I tell you Mike Wolthius is going to California? He got his call last Saturday, and he leaves in Oct. I doesn't matter where he goes, any place will seem foreign to him. But as for now, I am still sticking to Albania.

Melissa, you are so funny to have so many guesses! ;) I guess if he DOES go to one of the several that you listed, you can say you guessed right! ha ha.
ACTUALLY, when I was waiting for my call, I printed off a list of ALL the missions in the world, and hung it on the fridge. Every family member got to make a guess and we would put their name next to the mission that they guessed. They day I got my call (before I opened it), my little brother closed his eyes and searched around the pages until he landed on a spot. The mission was Missao Brasil Belem. Later that night, I opened my call to....Missao Brasil Belem. He was freaking out that he guessed. My mom also guessed Brasil RIGHT before I opened it. Anyway, just reminded me of that, so maybe, just maybe he will go to one of those missions! ;)

I still think it will be state-side. And believe me, in this day and age it's so good to know your missionary is on U.S. Soil!! But if he ends up out of the country? I'll say..... Ireland!

When Alan got his call he called some family members to tell them the news. I don't know if you remember this from my blog, but this is the conversation between him and Uncle David. This phone call was made just 10 minutes after he opened his call and nobody else had called or told him the news. It was SO FUNNY that David guess spot o.!

Alan: "Hey Uncle David, I just called to tell you I got my mission call today."

David: "Wait, wait, wait..... let me guess???? Ummmmm..... Tallahassee Florida?"

Alan: (dumbfounded) "Who told you?"

David: "Ha ha, nobody... where are you going?"

Alan: "Tallahassee Florida. Who told you?"

David: "Ha ha, nobody told me.... where are you going?"

Alan: "Nobody told you?"

David: "Are you really going to Tallahassee?"

Alan: "I'm really going to Tallahassee."

David: "I was REALLY just GUESSING!"

I don't know...I'd love it if he got called anywhere and I'm sure he will be amazing. Truth be told I'd LOVE him to go to LAS VEGAS NEVADA WEST lol but for some reason I just don't see him going state side, come on aunt leenz sometimes its good for a person to drink lead based water, get kicked in the back, and freeze a little...but I don't think they are sending missionaries to Moscow right now lol

oh I also think he'd do good in the south like Georgia or the far north like canada/new york/main area

Well hey, at the moment, thanks to Fay, my missionary is probably swimming with Alligators and snakes! So it can be adventurous!
