An Ode

I remember watching previews for a new show premering March 2005. It intrigued me. The lead actor was "that one guy" from Bruce Almighty and it looked really funny. I was on the phone with the guy I'd been dating, and got off so I could check this show out. It started off with two men sitting in the office, one mentoring the other...one of them was on the phone and said "thank you very much sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar....(pause, hang up the phone), that was a woman." I was hooked. For the next six weeks I watched faithfully until it came to a close for the summer. The reviews were not good, I was pretty sure it was going to be canceled. Low and behold, it picked up for a second season in the fall and The Office was born.

In the fall of 2005 when it came back I wasn't as faithful at watching it, I was more concerend with my new boyfriend Adam. One year later I was downloading all the episodes from 2005/2006 waiting for the new season to start. I loved Loved LOVED it! I was addicted. I watched it those long lonley days while I waited for Adam to come home.

I just wanted to mention the best tv show on telivision. That is all.

I cannot wait until the new season starts!!! We DVR'd all of season 4 and when Russell came home we tried to convince him that it's the best show ever and he should watch seasons 1 through 3. (Ihave have them all). At first he was thinking we were all crazy because he just couldn't figure out what was so great about this show. But I do believe he is now HOOKED and when we went to start on season 4 on the DVR .... CORY HAD DELETED THEM! Arrrrrrrggggh! I was not happy about that! He said he deleted all the porn from the tv. You see, Uncle Cory just doesn't get our obsession!

That's what SHE said!

The family are not faithful watchers but we try to catch the show now and then, especially Tara. We are Steve Carell fans. Enjoyed him in Get Smart and Dan In Real Life. Not so much in Evan Almighty. He is hilarious in The Office, and the supporting cast are adorable whackos :-)
