March 2017

Hannah had a great March. It was full of friends, learning, and reading. During Nevada Reading Week both Daddy and Mommy came to read for her class. She also got to dress up every day.She loves spirit weeks, and always tries to dress up for them when she can.

As much fun as she had in school for the month of March, she was very excited to get on track break. She was so excited to play on her kindle all day and watch TV. Fortunately/unfortunately for her, Mommy didn't approve of that plan. Every day she had to accomplish chores and tasks on a list before she had free time. She worked so hard and would get stuff done very quickly, but instead of choosing to be on a screen she started enjoying being outside in the fresh air, and would spend hours on end riding her bike and scooter.

Hannah had so much fun at Uncle Avery and Aunt Kylee's wedding, especially with Uncle Addison and Aunt Aubrey. Aubrey gave her a Nintendo DS and a Pokemon game, which Hannah spent a good chunk of track break trying to beat.

She was wonderful to have around during track break, especially on the few days I was babysitting. She's decided that she is NOT a fan of babysitting.

March was a nearly perfect month for Paige! It was full of crafts, adventures, and activities. During Nevada Reading Week both Daddy and Mommy came to read for her class. She also got to dress up every day. Some of Paige's favorites were Dr. Seuss day and pajama day. She also celebrated St. Patrick's day at school and her 100th day of school (and got to dress up as an old lady!

As much fun as she had in school for the month of March, she was very excited to get on track break. The first thing she did was learn to ride her bike. She learned how to do it in less than two lessons, and has been spending every possible moment on it ever since. She loves cruising around the neighborhood!

She looked especially beautiful at Uncle Avery and Aunt Kylee's wedding festivities. She was so happy they were getting married! Her favorite part was being in California and capturing (and writing her name with) snails. She loves bugs!

The changing weather has changed our lives! Sam is outside every day, and loves going to the park or playing in the front or back. He also loved having his sisters home during track break. He especially loves playing with and fighting with Paige. Those two are little buddies right now.

We also got to go to Avery and Kylee's wedding, and Sam looked so dapper in his suspenders and bow tie, even though he had a fever the whole time and wasn't feeling well.

I can tell Sam is getting older because he's phasing out of naps, which is sad for Mommy. However, he will take a nap if I lay down with him and tickle his back, which is a win/win situation as far as I can tell.

Aside from being out in nature, Sam also LOVES running errands or going to cool places like the Discovery Kids museum (we went twice in March). He's not a homebody. He also loves playing with his best friend True Greer.

Jonathan is learning at the speed of lightning. Last month he was taking seven steps at a time and this month he is running around like he owns the place. He is done with crawling, walking is much faster. One of the most precious things to me is how much everyone loves to cheer him on. Whenever he learns something new he has five people around clapping and giving him encouragement.

He still loves his binkie strap and his face gets all slobbery and stinky because he insists on having it right there against his face. He loves to point, wave, and make monster noises. He's rarely babbles but is always making sound effects.

He loves watching Little Baby Bum on Netflix, being read to, and cuddles. He's gaining a huge appreciation for his daddy, and thinks he's pretty awesome. He loves being a part of the "boys club" which he somehow instinctively knows he belongs to. He is loving Hannah, and having her home for track break is awesome.
